This exhibition celebrated the tenth anniversary of the first Diverse Manners art show, which took place in 1998. Following this first show, at Gaer Christian Centre, the group was formally established in 1989.

During its first decade, the group supported over 30 artists, exhibiting diverse selections of visual art forms including painting, drawing, embroidery, sculpture, photography, animation and installation. Diverse Manners stage exhibitions in a variety of venues including art galleries, places of worship and festivals, enabling the work to be accessed by a wide audience.

Diverse Manners is a non profit making organisation, funded by members subscriptions and gifts. The members of the group are committed to supporting Christians involved in social action. 25% of sales from this show will be donated to Tearfund2, a Christian relief and development agency working with a global network of local churches to help eradicate poverty.

a message from Cathey Morgan

Hello All,

Your exhibition looks terrific! It’s a really professional presentation and the work is all most interesting and of a very high quality.  I hope the viewing went well on Saturday evening, and I’m sorry I couldn’t be there but I had a family engagement that day.

I’m so glad you are able to extend your exhibition into April, as the work deserves as much exposure as possible.  Let me know if any of you come up to Brecon during the course of the exhibition so that I can say hello.

Best wishes,

Cathey.
