Martin Crampin was one of the founder members of Diverse Manners in 1998. He served on the committee before moving to Aberystwyth in 1999, but has continued to work with the group, exhibiting at each show since then.

Martin trained at the Newport School of Art from 1991–1995, and works in digital media and installation. His subjects for Diverse Manners exhibitions have included Welsh Saints and new images based on medieval art from Wales.

He has worked on the Visual Culture of Wales and the Imaging the Bible in Wales projects for the University of Wales, and also works freelance as an artist, designer and photographer.
