Craig was born in West Sussex where he grew up in Lancing on the south coast of England, located between Worthing and Brighton. Teaching himself photography while studying for his A-Level's and his passion has continued to grow ever since.

In 2004 Craig moved to South Wales and enrolled on the BA Honors Documentary Photography degree at University of Wales, Newport. Graduating in 2007 Craig now lives in Llandaff, Cardiff and has been focusing his practice on social documentary, concentrating particularly on portraiture and landscape work.
