Allison Hodgkiss

Allison has been part of Diverse Manners since its first exhibition in 1998. At that time she had just finished an Art and Design Foundation Course at the University of Wales College, Newport. She then went on to study a degree in Graphic Communication at the University of Wales Institute, Cardiff. Since graduating in 2001 she’s worked as a Graphic Designer for commercial companies and Christian charities. Her particular area of interest is typography – the use of type within design.

In her spare time she designs for her local church and community group, and she also makes handmade cards to raise money for St David’s Foundation to support people with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses. Visit www.cwtchme.co.uk for more details.
